Spartan Logistics Announces Expansion to St. Louis, Missouri

St. Louis, MO, March 21, 2022 – Spartan Logistics, a regional third-party logistics provider since 1988, is excited to announce the opening its newest location this month. This dedicated facility in Hazelwood, MO is a 143,600 square foot facility that will serve one of the largest paper and packaging manufacturers in the nation. This is their second location in the state of Missouri and brings the company over 3.5 million square feet of warehouse and distribution space.

This recently renovated building offers class-A warehouse space at an ideal location less than two miles from highway access and just a few miles from the St. Louis airport. Services provided to the customer will include racked storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, and a full shuttle operation to and from the customer's local plant. Spartan's newest operation will also bring at least 15 new jobs to the Hazelwood community and will add to their team of over 350 employees nationwide.

Spartan Logistics first became aware of the customer's supply chain issue near the end of 2021 and worked quickly to put together a plan.
