Spartan Logistics Expands Footprint with New Warehouse Location in Macon, Georgia

Macon, GA, November 20, 2023 – Spartan Logistics, a leading third-party logistics provider headquartered in Columbus, OH, is thrilled to announce the opening of its newest warehouse facility in Macon, Georgia. This expansion marks a significant milestone in Spartan Logistics' commitment to meeting the evolving needs of its clients while further solidifying its presence in the Southeastern United States. With this expansion, Georgia becomes Spartan Logistics' eighth state with an operating location and brings the company to 4.5 million square feet of warehouse and distribution space at 22 locations.

The Macon facility, located at 7595 Industrial Highway, is equipped with Spartan’s latest technology and warehouse management systems. The warehouse spans 112,000 square feet and is strategically positioned to serve as a Southeast hub for the customer’s distribution, offering excellent connectivity to major highways. This new location also enables the customer to enhance its movement of goods, reduce transit times, and improve overall supply chain efficiency for their operations.
