Spartan Logistics Acquires Commerce Warehouse

Anderson, SC - February 7, 2023 - Spartan Logistics, a leading provider of logistics and supply chain solutions based in Columbus, Ohio, has announced the acquisition of Commerce Warehouse in Anderson, South Carolina. The acquisition will strengthen Spartan Logistics' position in the South Carolina market making this its third location in the state. This also becomes Spartan’s 20^th warehouse location, putting the company at over 4 million square feet of operating space.

This location consists of several different operating facilities, with a total of 420,000 SF in warehouse space. Spartan Logistics initially began discussions with Commerce representatives in November 2022, and officially took over management of the existing location on February 1. The existing customer base includes several fortune 1000 customers, and Spartan will look to add new strategic partners at the Anderson, SC location in the near future.
